"Another Place" crosby relaunch comp

Excellent - I was planning to go and check these out over Xmas at some point - Thanks for the pointer Pacef8.

Pretty good results at the moment being had with the low evening sunshine, competition is high so come prepared for the cold and dont forget the pay and display now in force.

over towards the river alt outflow is a little less crowded .

Entry to the competition is free and open to all, with the exception of Sefton
Council employees and professional photographers.

Oh oh its like that is it?

Copyright of all images submitted for this competition remains with the
respective entrants. By entering the competition, entrants grant the right for
Sefton Council to use the images at any time. No fee will be payable for this.
Sefton Council reserves the right to use any entries in future web pages,
posters, press releases, displays or literature.

Hmmmm.

mmmm

throw copyright law at them and see what they say.

Ownership of works in this group

Regardless of the type of work involved the owner of the copyright will the person creating the work unless this is done in the course of employment when the employer will normally own the work produced, copyright lasts for 70 years from the end of the calendar year in which the author dies. "

how many rights have you waved over this year Pete ?? not many and not likely to either.

I will pass on this comp as there doesn't appear to be a winner. (apart from sefton borough)

Its fairly standard for a lot of competitions these days. Worded slightly differently. They would just say that if you don't like the terms don't enter. The way its worded seems to imply that they have plans.

No intentions of entering into the comp either (not that I'd do diddly squat, my talent is far too well 'hidden') - looks a interesting place to go and capture if the weather is good - thanks for the advice about where to go Gary.

Hi I did this last year my wife Julie was very patient getting into position

I wonder what they would first say !!

A far more interesting caption competition maybe !!!

me first then

"wooh me nuts"

You would find 100 men of iron crying. "Waaaahhhhh where's me willy?"
