Another one gone...

Very sad news.

Part of my childhood too and I had the pleasure of meeting him a few year ago. I was only talking about him recently on a walk down to Sandaig (Gavin Maxwell's Camusfearna)
 
Awww shame...I used to like his programmes.
Didn't he have a pet otter?

He lived with Gavin Maxwell in fact Maxwell became his legal guardian. Edal was the otter that bit off his fingers.

I feel almost guilty about this...

Only Wednesday myself and Sharon were talking about people recently dying who you thought had died years ago - as in Max Bygraves. I asked her if Terry Nutkins was still alive (not knowing he had Leukemia!)

How bizarre.
