Hi everyone,

I am a nanny and have been taking photographs of my charges and their friends, I love taking photographs, people tell me I have a good eye but I am very self critical and not so sure!

I have recently moved to Maidstone from East Sussex and would love to hear about any nice local landmarks that I go and practise on.

I have had a D90 for 3 years now (very generous Christmas present from an old boss (who is a photographers agent so got it far cheaper than I would have)) and try to shoot mainly in Manual but have real problems with the focus, auto and manual, no idea what I am doing wrong.

Hi, I have already put some of my lastest photos on the people/portrait thread and have had some lovely feedback, I am now off to find some older photos from external hard-drives to put up, I can see this site is going to be a huge time thief!

I go to Maidstone to work now and then but I can't think of anything other than the river, I certainly never see anything on the way. However I can ask the police staff for you :)
