A big hello from me, Paul.
I've been interested in photography for a number of years, with my first "serious" camera being a Minolta 7000. My main passion is wildlife, and in particular birds.
I've been a Canon EOS man ever since switching to a 50E (though I found the eye control never really worked very well). When Canon brought out the D30, I thought "I want one of those", but it was too expensive. It was when I came back from Australia and found I had no in-focus shots of Red-tailed Black Cockatoos, that made me switch to a DSLR as Canon had just brought out the D60. Since then I've had a 10D, 20D and now currently a 40D. Thinking about upgrading to a 7D, once the price falls to a more competitive level.
