Hi, another question for technical minded people.
Being of the older generation I still work in Imperial measurements just cannot get hold of the metric side of things.
Anyway the driver of the Canon IX6850 seems to work in metric and I cannot see a way of changing it over so hope someone has an idea and can help?
I use Qimage One on my Mac for printing (or want to) everything on that is in Imperial but the IX6850 driver only shows metric.
I contacted Canon (3 days ago) still await a reply.
Thanks for any help.
Russ.

I no longer use Canon but found this reference to custom inch sizes

The illustration shows the drop-down set at US letter...... if you haven't looked already, what other sizes show in that drop-down and as shown below "custom size" should be there too

Though of note this discusses the USA version i.e. they natively have feet & inches

I would think & hope that somewhere in the driver settings it has metric to imperial switching?

Hi, thank you for the reply, I can set any paper size from the drop down menu in inches/A4/A3 etc the problem comes when trying to set a border as when you go into the driver option it is metric yet from there website as shown in image it is inches. Driving me nuts!!!

I wonder if this is a question that Keith Cooper @ North light images can throw any light on the matter.

He is quite approachable and generous with his advice.

He also has a YouTube channel.
