Annoying newbie alert!

Hi guys, I'm Andrew and thought i would introduce myself... Job done

I joined to start getting more involved into photography. I am a big petrol head and taking pictures of cars is basically all i do atm.
I would like to broaden my horizon and get into scenic pictures and all types i guess, i also love macro. I have a book which i read (honestly it sits on the back of the loo haha) about photography.

Her is my 'kit':

It is a Nikon D60 body with a Sigma 18 - 50mm lens.

A pack of 1, 2, 4, 10 macro magnifying lenses.

Zeiko 2X Telephoto lens - What on earth does this do?


Zeikos 0.45X wide andlge w/macro lens - Again, what would this do apart from the macro function?

Zeikos flash - I haven't used this and i don't know when to either.

I also have a small tripod and a bag.

I am after any help i can get and hope to become a much better photographer. (I do understand i'd need better equipment to get anywhere near some of the amazing shots you guys take)!
