Yup, I've jumped on the bandwagon too. Ive been posting it on my website but thought I would post it here too as you lot are responsible for starting this off, ( yeah well Ive got to blame someone).
I started on Febraury 1st this year, with only one rule - all photos to be taken within 24 hours of the day they are posted.
So here goes with the catch up.
On February 1st I was feeling good and did something very foolish, I went cycling for the first time in 4 years with the aim of capturing a nice sunset locally. I only cycled 2 miles away and back again, but boy have I been ill since! You see I used to climb mountains and think nothing of cycling 20 miles a day on my days off (from a busy nursing job), until I suffered Chronic fatigue syndrome 18 months ago. Since then its been a slow move forward and very challenging to simply only walk a mile or two at a time as I'm rather stubborn and my mind seems to think my body can do more than my body can cope with now! Unfortunately cycling is no longer for me, its the wrong type of exercise for someone with this condition, so I will stick to gentle hiking instead - lesson well learnt ( for now). Anyway I did get one nicish shot of the sun going down in the local fiels and enjoyed watching these horses.
February 2nd
Today it snowed in Bristol, woohoo. First proper snow in 4 years since moving down south. What a bunch of softies southerners are taking days off school and work for 4 inches of snow, lol. I come from Newcastle where I remember one time still making it to work in 4-5 ft deep snow via a bus then a metro train, then another bus and a walk - wasn't so easy getting back mind! This is my garden in the snow this night.

A bit chilly today outside and I could not do much, feeling quite ill. So opted for photographing one of the baby crested geckos. These guys were actually thought to be extinct until they were rediscovered in New Caledonia in 1994. Now they are one of the most comonly kept pet geckos.

Work in progress, another of my hobbies is drawing and this is a recently started piece of mine taken from the photograph of a scrub python.
Next 8 photos to follow shortly
