i want to try some andy warhol/monroe inspired shots were the colours are replaced

how could i best achieve this in photoshop is it a case of making different layers and then painting over them with reduced opacity till i have done the pic then flattening the image or is there a better/easier way(if thats the right way in the first place

Pop Art....

I made some Kirsty Gallagher pop art, using MS Paint...

Convert to b/w, contrast it to hell and back and bucket fill with colour the white bits of your choice
