Yes
I have a couple of sites where I'd prefer Chrome didn't autofill my user details - as added security should my phone go astray. However when I go to Settings Autofill the options are greyed out.
a) Is it possible to remove autofill from specific pages or is it an all or nothing setting ?
b) If it is possible can anyone advise please how to do it
I'm using Android v16

Many thanks

To remove autofill from specific pages on an Android device, you'll need to manage your autofill settings within the browser or apps you're using. For example, in Chrome, you can disable autofill for specific websites by managing saved passwords and form data. You can also clear autofill data for all time or specific time ranges.

Steps to manage autofill in Chrome:

  1. Open Chrome Settings: Tap the three dots in the top right corner, then select "Settings".
  2. Navigate to Autofill and passwords: Tap on "Autofill and passwords".
  3. Manage saved passwords: Select "Google Password Manager" to view and manage saved passwords for different websites. You can delete passwords for specific sites to prevent autofill.
  4. Clear browsing data: Go to "Privacy and security", then "Clear browsing data". Select "Advanced" and choose "All time" or a specific time range. Make sure "Autofill form data" is checked and click "Clear data".
To remove autofill for specific sites within other apps:

  1. Open the app's settings.
  2. Look for an "Autofill" or "Form filling" section.
  3. Disable the autofill feature or manage saved information for specific sites within that app.
Note: Some apps might have limited options for managing autofill, and you may need to manage autofill settings within your device's general settings for certain features like system-level autofill.
