I am not one of his biggest, typical fans, the kind that follow him to concerts, etc. but I must say he had a fantastic voice and some of his songs will stand the test of time as they are real gems. Like many people, I have been listening to his songs in the last couple of days and I am sad such a great talent has finally come to an end.

When I was at school being in anyway a Wham fan was deeply uncool. Sadly that kind of stayed with me and I missed out. I never realised just how good his music or how generous he was until now.

Either heart attack or whatever he was in hospital with last and didn't say what it was I'd assume.
 
Heart failure was announced almost immediately, but as a sudden death there will be a post mortem.

It would be somewhat a disservice if he got remembered for a song he didn't write...
