Having just joined, it's introduction time.
I've been a photographer since I was a teenager and assisted Fox Talbot. (That's not as much of an exaggeration as I'd like.) I did a degree in Photographic Arts then went to work on photography magazines before moving over to computers. But photography has always been both a major passion and a second string to my professional bow, alongside journalism.
I've published four photo books - the first three were commissioned by book publishers, the most recent self-published by me. More info here.
My portfolio site is here. My main interest is in landscape, but I also have some kind of connection to an ongoing art project.
Just lately, I've been rediscovering the joys of analogue photography, not least after I spent weeks digitising thousands of transparencies and negatives. As for social media, you'll mostly find me on Mastodon and Bluesky.
