Yes
I was going through one of the draws and came across this !

I had brought this a number of years ago to use with my fully manual Film cameras and then never really did preferring just to use Sunny 16 . As I'm a little challenged at the moment only having my left hand to use I thought this is something I could try out . This was the combination I used !

The Sony was very difficult to set up with only my left hand so sometimes as there was fast moving cloud I had to set it up at a given light reading and then wait for that amount of light to become available again ,then take the photo.

Here are a few examples using as near as possible setting from the light meter.

Used a reading taken from close to the mug to try and get the exposure right for the mug. Not too bad !

Not too far out considering the Shadow of the house, maybe give an extra 0.3/0.7or so of a stop next time

Again reading taken from quite close to the figure which is in deep shadow because of the fence, maybe a bit extra exposure was needed.

I'll try again when the light is a little more constant posting both photos of each subject using the light meter ( plus a little more exposure if needed if this proves to be the case) and the same photo in fully auto giving the camera a chance to shine ! I might even included my attempt at sunny 16 as a first for each scene !

Those old Weston meters were great in their day, very accurate and especially when used with the invercone to measure incident light, but not very sensitive to low light levels. It was by far the best of their whole range. I had an even older one when I started out, the Weston Master, which later became known as the mark 1.
