On the whole, my post-processing skills are roughly acceptable for my purposes (just a hobbyist, nothing involving clients!), until we get to the minefield that seems to be sharpening!
I've just upgraded to a 24" beast of a monitor, and while it's lovely, the high resolution means I'm looking at my shots on a much larger scale, and I'm starting to notice that they're looking a bit on the soft side!
I've done some reading, and there are millions upon millions of guides, and it's just too much information to take in! Does anyone know of a nice plain, simple guide that explains how to sharpen properly, because I just end up making a mess!
The limit to my sharpening skills is clicking filter -> sharpen in CS3 :bonk:, help would be HUGELY appreciated!!!
