Anyone understand it?
Makes a scrum at Twickers seem quite simple to understand.
WTF is going on?

Simple. The attacking team have 4 attempts to move the ball forward 10 yards, with the ultimate aim of getting into the opponent's end zone. If on the 4th attempt they don't make the 10 yards, then the opposing team gets possession.

Used to watch this when the highlights were on C4 Sunday at 7pm

Got a pretty good idea of the rules and must admit to enjoying it

Same here.
Still watch it on Sky if I can find any one during saddo middle of the night bouts of wakefulness.

It's on at present. It will finish soon and then Guy Martin will be on. He might be daft, but he ain't crazy!

Why is it called football when there doesn't appear to be a lot of foot to ball contact?

Steve.

I totally understand it. Used to be a big fan when I was a kid. No idea why because it's boring as ****.

Yeh. Crap game.

Yep, completely understand it. used to watch it a lot when i was a kid. Hoping to get to at least one of the Wembley games next year. Was always a Denver Broncos 'fan' for some reason

It makes sense if you grew up with Rugby League - forward passing and tackling the man without the ball aside.
