I ordered an item yesterday for delivery today, I have been out all morning to visit my daughter in the hospital, I got a message saying my item was delivered through my letter box, Great I thought. On returning ho,e no item was posted through my letter box or outside my front door. I checked my camera and the Amazon van driver pulls up outside my property, he doesn't even get out of his van then he marks the item as delivered on his phone and drives off ! I got through to Amazon chat and they couldn't give a toss and said they can't raise a claim till Wednesday, they were not interested about the driver stealing my item

Interestingly I had a knock of the door last week and was a bit slow in opening the door. I fully expected to see the parcel on the mat .......but no, he was walking back up the path with it  so received but thought it strange. I was thinking it was a change of policy i.e. no longer left on doormat?

I am due a delivery today......so will see what happens. The box due is I think a tad bigger and heavier than last week's one

PS I have had issues over time with the delivery being declared as "Handed to resident" but actually put through the letter slot. I have reported those on live chat a few times and only seen occasional change(s).

Had a box/tube spanner set delivered a couple of weeks ago but it was missing the tommy bar. Not a huge deal but it should have been there so lodged a complaint with Amazon who arranged a replacement. That was allegedly lost in the post so Amazon refunded. RNLI will be getting the refund and I'll find an old screwdriver to use as a tommy bar.

Recent Amazon deliveries the courier has just left the parcel by the door, not even knocked the door. First we know about delivery is the email confirming delivery.

Couple of years ago we had a 2 cases of wine from Amazon, 1 case only had 5 bottles so we complained and they sent another case.:)

We are at the end of the street, a lot of our parcels get delivered next door , the last house on the street, strange as there house number is on the wall and illuminated

Amazon going with their own delivery network has it's ups and downs, here they are pretty good but you rarely see the same person more than a couple of times. I reckon the wages are so poor it's difficult to make a living at it.

I always have things delivered to work - never a question about good in there so far.
