Amazon warehouse tours...

Got to say I think that would be quite cool to go and see. Then again I do like watching "How it's made" and similar programs

LOL, Just another income stream....Cinical, Who Me? Nope just see it for what it is, of course there is always a PR angle to be pushed.

Tours of workplaces are crazy. I worked for local government for years. A few years back we had a visit from John Swinney and our bosses went into full crazy mode making sure the place was looking better than usual. This included replacing strip light bulbs in the ceilings that had been out for months or possibly years. They actually called in emergency electricians from a different department for this who charged if I remember correctly something like £147 per light bulb. Is it any wonder council budgets get blown year on year?

Don't get it
Why go to look at a load of boxes on shelves

It's definitely a drive for a recruitment campaign. Just reading it shows that.

I always found it fascinating when I had industrial customers to get to see "the operational side......" even sometimes privileged NDA access was great to get the insights into a wider range of industries.

err for the same terrible reason they take poor schoolchildren to water treatment sewers and so on. Oh look kids, this is where some of you will spend working the rest of your life!

Yes, we have a few from Dubai / Nigeria who insit on making a visit before placing orders, even if the order is a small value, i'd love to see how much they sell it on for to cover all these costs.

on topic though, i wouldn't mind having a tour myself tbh.
