Amazon photo to canvas help please ?

Hello all,


I am trying to get a photo to canvas print from Amazon I have worked out that the photo is 4:3 ratio ( old point and press) so have tried to use sizes of the same ratio but everytime I do this using different sellers it states that I need to customize ie:resize, this result in some of the photo being lost to an unacceptable level. I realize that they have to allow for the sides of the canvas but thought this would be even. Am I doing something wrong ?

Have you tried my-picture.co.uk?

I've used them for canvases and they offer a "mirror" overlap so you don't lose any of your image.

It would work particularly well for this shot I think.
 
Looking at that image it's deffo not 5x4, obviously cant measure it but my guess is 8x6?

EDIT: Just measured that image, it's 1024 x 768px so it's a 4x3 ratio or 8x6 etc etc

Thanks everyone I've gone with My-picture.co.uk with the mirrored edges. The reason I was looking at Amazon was price I did use eBay but paypal have froze my account unless I up load copies of my personnel documents which I refuse to do. So hence I had transferred to Amazon for most things.

Again cost ( normally about 1/2 or less ) my canvas's get changed fairly regularly so I try to keep costs down. My-picture.co.uk is doing a promotion at the moment where 3 friends get a free canvas at 30x20cm .

What size did you go for?
 
40x30cm it was about the max I have a gap for ! We have a lot of art work and an few photos, I always joke we need to build more walls.
