First of all I hope it's ok to post this on here?

Amazon have a great deal on memory cards at the moment, I just ordered a sandisk ultra 16GB UHS-1 class 10 SDHC card for £8:09!

Just thought I would share the info for anyone looking to buy one.

Ps. Mods if this is against forum rules to post this sort of thing please accept my apologies.

Try MyMemory, good prices and postage is often free, with amazon it's usually not.

Thanks for the heads up, needed to buy a few so I'll definitely take a look at these! Get free next day delivery with amazon as well

Just bought a Sandisk 32GB Extreme Compact Flash 90MB/S card for £99, had my eye on that for a while and usually around over £135 so not a bad price at all.

Thanks for the heads up again!

Is that Amazon or a reseller. Watch out for fakes from the resellers.

Amazon direct, my memory seems to be beating them by a few pence on a few as well on there, my memory dont sell fakes.

It's from amazon direct, my memory is slightly cheaper but I havnt bought from them before so went with the safe option, although a couple of posters have vouched for them since.

Thanks for the heads up tho.

tbh I would rather purchase from mymemory rather than amazon, i've been very happy with all my purchases.

Just ordered a 16GB SDHC 45mb/s for £9.99 on mymemory (don't forget quidco at 4%).

Always or in your experience at least? :) Bold statement :)

My experience, and my sisters, ordered about 10 cards from them this year, different times, all been genuine

You're lucky, this hasn't been my experience with them. Very frustrating when things go corrupt on you.

My memory are an authorised seller of sandisk, says so on the sandisk website

so your saying my memory have sold you fakes before?

Well, Sandisk wouldn't say they were fakes but they verified that there were irregularities with the serial numbers in the batch or words to that effect. One of those things I chalked down to experience.

Just because someone states that they are an authorised seller of Sandisk doesn't actually mean that it is not possible to get 'other stock' in through alternative suppliers.

Ordered a Sandisk 16GB CF card last week and not yet arrived. Estimated delivery is next Friday!! :(

I purchased a Sandisk SDHC Extreme Pro 95mbs read/write card from My Memory - have just checked it on 2 test sites and read is running at 16mbs and write at 18mbs. Anything I am doing wrong or have I been sold a dud?

How are you testing it? Maybe your USB connection isn't quick enough to test those speeds? Have you got a USB 3.0 card reader?

Thanks for response - I am using a cheap USB card reader - Puremedia.

That looks really tempting as well as I want a SDXC card and a CF card to go into my camera but I'm kind of hoping these will drop down a bit more. Only £5 cheaper than play.com so am hoping Amazon might run an offer on them soon! Still a good price for those who might want it now.

Well these are up for £91.39 down from £99 so just ordered a couple, that's me well stocked up on memory for now!

My Sandisk Extreme 16GB 60MB/s CF card finally arrived from Amazon.

Minimal packaging compared to the usual Sandisk fare but looks genuine. Done a full test on it and the card verifies fine and reads at 72MB/s!
