I've just joined this group. I'm not a photographer, although I would love to be. I take a lot of images of mountains, plants and animals for my own amusement with my mobile phone. Sorry.
The reason I've joined this group is that I'm clearing out the loft of the family home in Liverpool UK.
My dad maintained a collection of every copy of Amateur Photographer that he ever purchased (along with a lifetime of magazines about stamps and the scout movement
)
I don't want to see all these magazines end up in a skip. He kept them for a reason. They mattered to him. He kept them in the loft where he had his dark room.
Is there anyone who knows anyone who will want to take these magazines for archives? For sale?
They are of no monetary value overall but there may be the odd edition that may raise £10 for some uniqueness.
I'm not asking for any money for them.
If anyone can take them, or knows of anyone other than a pulping business that could use them, I'd be very glad to know.
