Amateur Boxing

Hi guys i have been asked to take some shoots of an amateur boxing event for one of my work mates. any tips and advice would be great. I only have a 450d body, 18-55 & 55-250 kit lenses, nifty 50, and a 24-105l f4. dont think a can use flash thanks in advance , jim

If you cant use flash then you'll certainly need f2.8 or faster lens. Depending on the venue lighting you may also need ISO speeds of 3200 or higher but if lucky then 1600 may do it but doubt any less.

When I do these I find they may use additional lighting for the ring but turn down everything else which creates very patchy and contrasty images.

thanks not sure about flash was hoping it was light enough to use 24-105l
