Another good lot to try are the 42 Below Vodka. They come in numerous flavors. You keep them in the freezer so they go all thick and gloopy. Then you just add your mixer. B...E...A...UTTTIFUL! :naughty:

Honey is a good flavor!
 
I was once served a "Michael Collins" cocktail by a nice Hawaiian gentleman in an Irish bar in Las Vegas.

It was essentially a depth-charge - a half of Guinness with a shot that was 1/2 cheap whiskey, 1/2 Tia Maria dropped in.

You're meant to down it, but I down Guinness for no man, so let it settle.

It curdled.

It was lovely, though.

It put me in mind to set up a bar in London serving an Osama Bin Laden cocktail.
 
My late mother thrived on two schooners of 50% gin mixed with 50% Dry sherry before all meals. Actually not quite as limited as that.
 
Oh My! Just realised what an alcoholic I am making myself out to be....

I like a bit of gin and juice in summer, it has to be Plymouth gin though ;) That or Pimm's and lemonade with a little fruit in.

Another good one for hot summer days is a nice cold cider.
 
There's nothing embarrassing about booze, in whatever form it comes! I'll even drink white cider. Anything. It's all good. Except WKD. That's completely and utterly wrong.
