Am I missing something?

One (the more expensive one) seems to be EU supplied. Description is in french for start. The questions seem to suggest that one was actually cheaper at one point. Just usual amazon crazy pricing.

Seems it was down to £825 in the summer from Amazon. Bizarre pricing for one reason or another.

Stock sourced from 2 seperate locations and costing 2 diferent prices - we use 2 wholesalers and both charge diferent prices for the same items. We buy from both as they both supply unique products. We can also buy a pallet of a product for one price that allows us to offer a multi buy and buy in small quantities that doesnt from the same supplier

Pricing is controlled by the supplier, not by Amazon, and there are innumerable reasons why prices can vary wildly, for example:
1. Some suppliers pay their import taxes and VAT, some evade them
2. Some suppliers are happy to sell almost at cost, to gain market share from their competitors.
3. Some suppliers are overstocked and need to get rid, to free up cash.
4. Both of these cameras are fulfilled by Amazon, which means that they are held in stock in an Amazon warehouse (expensive) so it can pay to turn the stock over quickly to reduce these costs.

Amazon is a very effective sales platform, but also an expensive one, taking around 30% of the sales price (up from about 18% five years ago, so not usually the place for bargains.

It's often cheaper to go directly to a vendor website (if they have one) rather than buying from them via Amazon Marketplace.
