Always wondered why women couldn't park

Just got a slap for saying Guernsey should build one too

BBC News Website said:
The parking bays are one metre (3ft) wider than normal spaces, he said.

And they'll probably still park with door handles touching.

That's because they all get told that
8inches.jpg

is 8 inches

 That is definately 8inches, no two ways about it :rules:

Mind you, I earn my living from cars, I can park a grand scenic within a hairs breadth on a clio in the workshops when we need to squeeze more cars in than we have space for at night; I can move an Espace off the forecourt through a gap its male owner swore blind it wouldn't fit through without adding any extra scratches to its existing collection; I can drive in snow, unlike most of the chaps in these parts....so why of gods earth can I no longer parallel park over my right shoulder first time? I mean WTF?? Takes a 2nd go, every time, regardless of the size/shape of car. I can do it over the more difficult left shoulder, no problemo, drives me mad!! :bang: I feel soooo.....GIRLY!! :gag:

Your right its a GIRLY thing:thumbs:

It does depend on the Vehicle, I drive a Renault Master every day and I can park that in the busiest high streets and smallest places imaginable, ( I work in Brussels one week out of two) but my Kia Sedona is a b****r to park and really it shouldn't be any different as they are the same width, its all in the mirror design and placement I reckon.

Steering lock can be a factor too, I also drive a van and reverse park using just the mirrors quite easily, but in a car looking over your shoulder out the window makes it harder.
