Hi there,

I broke my Sigma 70-300 Macro APO DG etc etc lens about 2 months ago. It is damaged beyond repair.

Anyway, I've had a replacement on order for 8 weeks now and still no sign of one becoming available. I've rung several dealers and web shops but no joy in finding one in stock.

Can anyone recommend an alternative lens.

Oh, yeah it's for a Minolta Dynax D5. Is this causing the delay?

I wouldn't mind but I only bought that camera, cos I had a Minolta SLR and the Sigma lens already.:bang:

isnt it sony lenses now?? As they took them over??
 
Yup Im sure Sony now sell Minolta compatible lenses as their own, even have white lenses - if thats your thing :D
