At the moment I’m carrying my mirrorless body with a 100-400 lens using a Black Rapid strap. I don’t like the way it swings about as I walk.
I’ve seen people carrying gear on a harness on their chests, probably with the body/lens on a clip.
I’ve not been able to find exactly that on the web, has anybody any ideas?

I use a harness which puts the weight on my shoulders rather than my neck - £30-ish from London Camera Exchange - harness attaches to the lens. It still swings around a bit and knocks my binoculars so I keeps a hand on each as I walk.

This is one of the areas where a real shop beats the interweb hands down. You cannot beat talking to someone who uses the same kit and can show you the alternatives.

I use a Joby Utrafit strap which is easy to shorten and extend so you can keep the camera close to your body when not in use. When shortened I fond the camera really doesn't swing around.

I use a Carryspeed strap, for carrying my D500 and 150-600 and it is very comfortable, as well as ensuring the kit doesn't swing about.

I've switched to a joby pro sling strap with the tether.

Super comfy, secure and easy to adjust on the go with the pull ring.

I used to use a spider pro holster with the pin attached to the tripod foot. No swinging around at all, the PD Capture Clip is also an alternative which I have user attached to the shoulder strap of a back back, the camera and lens rests against you chest

I recall Cotton Carrier being mentioned somewhere a while back.

Various UK sellers come up on Google.
Thanks.
I’ve just had a look at this:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Cotton-Car...coding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=XAWPM84QND8ECDYE9HZE
It seems to do what I want. The price is a bit eye watering but considering its quality and the cost of the gear I’m using it’s probably what I’ll get.
There are cheaper knock offs but they carry a risk.
