Alpha 500 won’t import photos to ipad

I took some pics today
all the pics can be viewed on the camera screen
but when I take the SD card and out it in my ipad card reader, it “sees” the SD card but says ”Nothing to import”
Same occurs if I plug a USB cable from the camera to ipad via the card reader again

anyone any suggestions please or come across this before ! a google search hasnot thrown up any suggestions

Have you previously been able to import them into the iPad? If so, has there in the meantime been an update on the iPad......or is this the first time you have tried this on the iPad???

Oh, are you talking about raw files or JPEG???
 
Devi timely done it before but circa 6 months ago, same camera same ipad , same connector

new IOS possibly , it’s 14.1

i wonder whether they are are RAW rather than Joel and whether that makes a difference - good idea :)

New iOS.....if so it would surprise me that it no longer will see/read the image files???

Whether raw or JPEG , that as you may be aware down the settings on the camera ;)

Have tried the SD card on a main computer (PC or Mac?)
 
I have an iPad Air 2 running IOS 14.2. I can import Fuji and Nikon raw files successfully straight into my Photos, so I don’t think IOS is at fault.

Just edited. I can also see them and import them into the Files folder.
