Hey Ladies and Gents!
Just thought I ought to say Hello now that I have been lingering around this forum for a short while.
I'm from based primarily from Reading and I'll be splitting my time across the Austrian alps in Innsbruck this winter too. I have been interested in photography for a few years now, observing a few basic guidances in composition etc. and only recently have decided to take the plunge and purchase my first camera (Nikon D3100 with a kit lens 18-55mm).
My main interests are extreme sports, the outdoors and travel. I'm hoping my photography will help me document my own little adventures, in addition to getting a little creative by taking Macro's portraits and whatever else seems to interest me!
I have to be honest my first experiences haven't been quite a thrilling as I'd hope, I have taken much better on my iPhone and my ancient GoPro II. However all is not lost, I am seeking guidance from the internet and trying to apply what I read to various projects with my camera. I'm hoping to show my face at the Reading Camera club in the new year, but I'm also here to seek advice and support on the forums.
Look forward to sharing my photo's and my own experiences with you all!
Cheers
James
