hello all, :help:


right I am currently stuyding A level dt, this year I am going to design a hard case box to carry all the equipment to games, I was thinking about having a seat in the desgin and also maybe a cover for the laptop bulit in, or is there anything you think would be good to have in a design. What essentials do you think the case box must have. I really would appreciate your feeback.

sounds interesting

the main thing with winter coming, people want something waterproof and water tight so equipment stays dry

Light weight, Strong and Waterproof.... The seat is a great suggestion too.
 
How about some decent wheels and long handle like luggage. Possibly small air filled tyres to cusion it from bumps. Not really an essential and the Manufacture cost will go up but that would be cool especially if you're carrying 2 or 3 cams a few lenses and a laptop.

You mean you want to redesign a Peli 1510 or 1650?
 
Not too heavy, as sometimes there's a lot of steps to carry them up and down!! Will need to be as strong as my Peli box though.

ill have a look at them well i do a level photography to so i thought i would do something im intrested in, in dt. so i thought i would attempt at making one !

I'd love a monopod that did that. Really want a pint glass holder on mine :lol:
 
You could do a box that opens on hinges, then from the top (inside the lid) theres a pull down platform for a lappy.
 
How about a hole on the outside somewhere that a wire loop could go through, so that it could secured where feasible to an immovable object?
 
Have a look at the Think Tank website, lots of pro's use there kit.
Rollers, fits in hand luggage, cables and locks etc
