Crikey. If you didn't know, The Sixteen are really the creme de la creme in the choral world. What Armstrong is doing here is analogous to playing up front for Chelsea. My wife sings in a choir like this, though she's more Vauxhall Conference than Premier League, and I'll be interested to see what she thinks of Armstrong's voice...
 
Saw him sing at the end of a Pointless show and was quite impressed although not completely surprised.
 
He also presents regularly on Classic FM so clearly has a musical side amongst his other many talents. Really lovely and good for him.

I saw that too. Unlike the rest of the show, not pointless at all.

With current talentless, alleged comedians like Miranda Hart and Sarah Millican getting all the limelight now, it's good to know that there are a few good ones around like him... and my favourite, Robert Webb.
