These are the Optus scopes, which started off at 49 quid, then 26 quid and are now down to 14 quid in my local ALDI (Northampton).
Quick road test -
Chromatic abb is rather low, surprisingly so for the cost, distortion is also less than expected. Close focus is about 3m, which means it's OK for my back garden birdies. Pull out hood only an inch or so but better than nowt, includes objective lens cap but no eyepiece cap. Std tripod bush on rotatable, lockable ring. Focus is easy, not too critical. Eye relief is almost non existent. Includes and all but useless table tripod.
For 14 quid I have to say 10/10 ! At 49 quid ? Maybe not.
