Album Design Background.

Hey Guys,

I need some advice, what opacity do you usually set your background image at when designing a page for an album on photoshop.

I am using the flowers as the background and I want to know the best opacity to set them as. At the moment I am thinking either 30% or 40%

It's going to vary with the image and background colour etc, are you overlaying the BG image over a white (or coloured bottom layer), or are you putting a white (or coloured) layer over it at reduced opacity?

It is a colour image going over the top of a white back ground. Thanks

You'll have to try it with the image on top I think to see it doesn't distract too much from the prime image. I like them fairly faint so it's just making a the background a bit less bland.
