Evening all

I remember seeing some photos of an old dc10 I think crash site in the area above.

Anyone know where it is, I'm planing a sunrise truck to Sheffield and then lady bower on Monday and would like to fit this in if I can find it?

Unfortunately my copies of Dark Peak Wrecks vols I and II by Ron Collier aren't available to me at the moment, but these are the standard references for the subject in the area. I think you may mean the B-29 by Doctor's Gate off Snake Pass, it's got the biggest "bits" remaining in situ of the wrecks I've visited.

You could have a look here and see if you can find it - http://peakwreckhunters.blogspot.co.uk/

thanks Alistair, good old google maps has found it for me, it is the b29 I'm thinking of, looks a reasonable walk from the road side but should be fine..

No problem Jim. The B-29 is a good walk from the road, but (from memory) is easy to spot. Not just a greasy stain on the heather like some other wreck sites!

Thanks Dave, my trip should allow for a walk on for a look and shoot, depends on ladybower and how long I end up there I think
