Hey Everyone!

My name's Steve and I've just started to get into photography after getting an old 500d a few months ago. I'm loving it so far and am looking forward to stealing all of your knowledge/help and becoming a better photographer =)

At the minute I'm mostly just taking shots of my dog and his mates down the park, but would love to get into sports and gig/event photography too.

Welcome to TP, I actually think that if you want to get into sport photography ( and you'll learn plenty of tips on here) that photographing fast running dogs isn't a bad pre-curser. If you can nail, good close ups, freeze the action and capture the timing then that will stand you in good stead.

Thanks for the welcomes guys!

I have a few shots of my pup that I'll post later today that I'd appreciate feedback on, he's only 5 months old though and hasn't got he hang of 'stay' yet so it's petty difficult to keep him in frame!
