After 2 good monitors for editing photos

Now i have my NAS all sorted next thing on my list is 2 decent screens. (borrowed a 2nd screen off a friend for sorting all my photos to make it easier to drag from one to the other ) and really don't think i want to go back to single screen haha!

Not really sure what i should be looking for but my graphics card can take 1 vga 1 dvi-i and 1 hdmi

Also no idea really how much i should be spending on a semi-decent/ decent screen? but i'd be looking at 2x 24" I'd say tops £500 -600 for the pair though any less is a bonus (if i can get away with some for £150-200 each then i'd go with that)

Anyway any ideas?

Whichever screen(s) you go for make sure that you buy a graphics card capable of Dual-link DVI output, Single-link DVI only allows resolutions up to 1920 x 1080.

Take care as some cards offer one Dual-link and one Single-link output. Check for comments on Amazon, etc. as product descriptions can be wrong/confusing.

Anything with display port will work with all current resolutions (some even include the forthcoming 4k screens).
