Hi Talk Photography!
Context: I recently updated my Macbook pro to Big Sur OS, which is not compatible with Canon's EOS Webcam Utility. This means I can no longer use my Canon EOS 700D to record videos—on Zoom and Riverside.fm—in real-time directly onto my mac.
Question: Do you know a suitable camera body that I can use to record podcast interviews over Zoom?
Camera criteria:
1. Must be compatible with Sigma lenses (the kind that work with Canon)
2. Must have an HDMI port. This is so it can integrate with the Elgato Cam Link I am planning on buying which will let me use the camera as a webcam. (If you have suggestions for a better way to approach using the Sigma lens as a webcam, please share!)
3. The cheaper the better
Thanks for any advice you can offer.
