Does anyone know if you can do the Lightroom image selection style of Affinity Photo (where you horizontally scroll through your SD card)?

Do you mean image selection or review?
 
I just use Adobe Bridge 2024 to select the photos I want to edit and then hit enter to open them in Affinity. An additional step, but no real issues with it and feels a natural step in my editing process now.
 
But it is very easy to to use programmes like FastStone and IrfanView to go though the images and set them to open Affinity to edit
 
Thank you all for your replies! I believe it's the selection process that I'm mostly referring to. I appreciate your suggestions and will take a look at the additional software you have mentioned :)
