Affinity photo...

I have it, I use it occasionally and yes it's good. I have CC so have photoshop and tend to use that mostly, but if I didn't have photoshop, AP is a very capable replacement and worth every penny of the £40 price tag.

"Soon" maybe a bit optimistic.

I registered for a Windows beta version weeks ago and I've heard nothing...
 
Affinity Designer is downloadable in beta right now, they say photo will come after the designer release
 
"Designer" is a completely different program, which I have no interest in.

I already have software for that purpose.

No interest here either, but the photo version I have.
 
I went ahead and bought the photo version for my mac
I like it. It does everything I need....I think, and more.
 
I like it for pixel editing but the raw convertor im not so happy about,shadows highlights adjustments not a patch on LR
