Affinity Photo

If you have a mac,its worth having a trial.good support forum too.

I am using Affinity Photo and Affinity Designer since quite sometime now:
new thing, new codes, new tools new freshened up approach!

As mentioned somewhere else, I sold my Master Collection knowing/hoping that Adobe's
business move will drive some sorcerers to scribble new code lines and come up with
(less cramped in old architecture) new software and new ideas. Da da! there it is…

If you got a Mac, treat yourself. This native application is highly seductive!

Maybe. That question was asked on the Affinity forum, but the reply was ambiguous, see below.

I wouldn't have said the reply was ambiguous, just evasive.
The developers say "We are going to focus on completing the full suite on the Mac over the next 12 months. After that we will look into other platforms."
I realise that "looking into" is a lot different to "developing" but the answer is from October 2014, which is already 12 months ago, and there is no sign of any alternative platform at present.
Probably a case of computer months being much longer than real world months, and if there is an alternative in the pipeline I doubt we will see anything for at least another 18 months.

Serif have said they already have a software for Windows. For this reason I don't believe they will ever develop Affinity for windows.

Read posts #27 and #29 in the link below and in particular, the last paragraph of post #29,
