Hi guys

I'm after advise and quidance please tomorrow I head to Devon for a week driving my Mini on a few runs for chairty :)

As part of the event we attend a local carnival on the Thursday evening which this year I will walk with the cars and my camera.

Also there will be lots of staic stuff of cars and general shots of the event in various locations (hopefully all of them will be sunny it is bank holiday afterall:lol: )

I will be taking my Nikon D3100, Nikon 18-55, Nikon 70-300, Tamron 55-200 anmd Sigma 10-20 Tripod and Jessops Flash Gun.

Basically this will be my first time at this event with a decent camera and need adivse on what settings lenes etc. While I'm not an 'offical' photogrpher I would like to be abel to offer my photos to help raise funds for the chairty and to use in a photobook (for which I got a deal via Amzon Local) which I plan to give as an auciton item for next year.

Thanks in adavnce for your help.

Mark

car shows/meets are a photographers nightmare really! be prepared to have to jostle for a good position and have people walking everywhere in front of you and around the cars.

I would take the 18-55mm and the 10-20mm if you want a few wiide angled shots.

When I shoot shows I stick with my 18-135mm and just be aware of your backgrounds and get in tight to the cars and pick out details :)

its not easy though :) good luck!
