hi guys

I've taken a good few photos of my niece, she is blind so it was a lot more difficult to get her to concentrate and asking her to do things etc she did very very well.

I got this photo and my shutter speed wasn't quite fast enough, just a fraction off.

would you crop it in so her arm isn't in the picture ( so she's to the right side?)

or leave it as it is??

thanks in advance

What a lovely little girl and the background works very well IMO ... personally I wouldn't crop as I think it would look more odd than the blurred hand ... anyone who she is close to will love it anyway. :)

x2

It's a lovely shot and I'd leave it as it, given the pose the movement works quite well.

Thanks for the advise , i did think that to be honest but wasnt sure.

Ive got lots a cute ones for a calender for her gran parents

The movement isn't spoiling it.

It's lovely and you should be proud of it.

Awesome photo just as it is!

I didnt notice the hand as I was enjoying the image of the charming little lady

Thanks alot it means alot, i believe im too critical of my self when doing photo shoots etc

Great picture i would not be worried about the hand as it adds to the picture!

P.s dont you mind me asking what did you use for the background?

Hey, I wanna ask what sites do you use for you photo galleries?

Hey, i dont actually use a site, i use Flkr for uploading photos on here but i have a facebook account i use to upload all my work

A really nice shot. I wouldn't crop three blurred hand out, I don't think it spoils the image

It's good to be self critical, that what makes you strive for perfection and create a stunning image like this.

I love it and I'm sure the grandparents will too.

I agree with Gramps, I too think it is a lovely photo and you have really captured the moment a beautifully taken photo and one to be proud of.

Really, you should not worry about the movement in her left arm. She is a child and she is alive and those who know her character (e.g. she can't stay still) will appreciate it even more. After all, she is being a real Princess (and looks like one) playing with her hair. Now we said all the nice things can we have some grumpy things :tumbleweed:

thanks so much guys :-)

ill find a link and post it tomorrow :-), these are really nice comments and has made me realise I can be to critical but also not a bad thing I suppose as greennija said its what makes me strive for perfection. its given me more confidence which I appreciate.
