Hi guys!

I am supposed to be going on my first 'assignment' for want of a better word for work next week to a school in which to take some shots of the new building. I wondered what, if any, advice I can get from the folks here?

I will be taking my D3300 which has a 18-55mm lens, not the widest lens for this sort of thing which may be a hindrance, tripod and some ND filters. I am aware I will be needing to take some long exposures should there be any children present (it is a college though so may be a bit slower moving than Primary!) but I wondered if there is anything else I should consider?

Any advice would be greatly received!

Sounds like you have it covered with the exception of other lenses. I'd maybe just keep an eye on the weather as you'll want the photos to be in good blue sky with cloud weather I'd say. Photos with rain or clouds etc would make it look gloomy and if they're wanting the photos to put on websites, leaflets etc then they'll want it to look a happy place. Other than that just find out what they want from the photos and make it happen. All the best.
