Advice re X100T black and white settings

Does anyone have any tips for setting my X100T up for black and white street shots?

Everyone has their own method, but I would shoot in colour, RAW, and use black and white conversion in lightroom. You maintain control over each individual colour channel this way.

That's the set up I would normally use but I have heard that B&W JPEG's from the X100T can be amazing with the right settings.

Not sure what other options you have the x100t but I'm a big fan of the green filter b&w on x100 for anything with people in. Works nicely.

Depends on your preferences really. I like deep shadows so I raise S tone, and I also reduce noise reduction. Whether I use a colour filter depends entirely on the scene.
