My friend has never had any photos of herself taken as she has anorexia and isnt happy with her body image, however recently she has been doing really well and wants to do this as a present for her boyfriends birthday and says she will feel ok with me doing the photos as we are friends, so quite pleased really so want to do her justice.

Wow she really is doing well if she is allowing pics of her to be taken, i know you know this Sue, but be very very careful, friend or not, Anorexics are very touchy about body image (went out with an ex anorexic for 4 years) and body image even for those managing to get over it, is still the biggest concern.

There is a woman in America that uses Photography of anorexics etc to help with body image, i think her name is Helen Fisher-Turk, just did a quick search and unfortunately cant find any examples of her work.

Thanks for that Ian time to do some research.
Those are some scarey images, she was never this bad in the time I have known her, lucky I guess. It was her that has asked me to do these pictures so will take things at her pace and see what happens. She wants to go on holiday first and get a bit of a tan
