Advice - please! Re: 100k slides - what to do with them

Hi there,

My Grandfather passed away and bequeathed me over 100,000 slides. As a professional photographer he had built up quite a library - They are largely travel photos (buildings, street scenes, coastal), along with a plant and flower collection. The time period is approximately between 1970 - 2010. I've been through them all and selected some for myself, however I really don't want to throw them away. Does anyone have any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've catalogued everything and have some photos I can share if anyone is interested.

Sounds really interesting :)

i know the stock library fotolibra likes historic collections so ones from 70s amd 80s might be of interest. I don't know whether they offer a reasonably priced scanning service that would upload all the best ones to them.

Anything he got images of that others didn't are going to be the most popular.
