Hi Guys,

I'm after some advice. Ghandi, I understand you do work for estate agents, could you please give me some advice on photographing rooms?

I rent out a villa in Spain and I think the inside shots are a bit uninspiring.

Any advice on any of the photos or on the website itself from any of you would be, of course, welcome.

I would say you could do with getting "slightly" creative. IE take the viewpoint away from normal eye level.
Get lower down, get higher up, and if you can, go a bit 'wider'.

However, someone might come along and say exactly the opposite ;) (That it needs to be done at eye level as thats how people will see the rooms)

I honestly don't see much wrong with those shots at all. The place looks attractive enough to me, with the possible exception of the bedroom shots where the windows are blown out in comparison to the interior. They really need to be taken with the flash balanced to blend with the ambient outside light. That's me looking at the shots as a photographer though, there's nothing there that would deter me from spending a couple of weeks there... it's looks great. :)

i think ghandis on holiday, btw....

thanks for the advice. I am actually reconsidering taking the shots of the living room and deliberately blowing out the outside. The problem is that it looks like what you can see out of the window looks really close where in reality it is the other side of the valley.
