Honestly for £100 you going to get a load of crap that won't last.
My mother has gone through the same thing. She's had an Amazon tablet, a Lenovo tablet, some other tablet all on the cheap and they all lasted 5 minutes.
I convinced her to buy a basic model iPad.
My wife has had her iPad for around 6 years now and I've probably had mine for 4 years since the last upgrade. They may be a bit more money to buy but in the long term they are cheaper.
The Samsung A9 64Gb is £107 on Amazon, but if you can stretch your budget a bit, the A9+ (11" screen rather than 9") is on offer, with the 128Gb version at £159 (or you can have the 64Gb version for £165...).
I've had a Tab A in the past, and it was fine for viewing and on the go edits using LR Mobile.
I'm probably not going to help but... Just in defence of cheap kit which might last longer than 5 minutes. My Teclast 10" cost £79.99 new from Amazon two years ago and it's working and in use every day. Sadly they're £139.99 now. I would worry about buying a used one though as what state is the battery going to be in? One shop I reguarly pass gives battery ratings for their used stuff so if going used I think that would be one thing to look for, if you are going to use it off the battery.
