Advice on Laptop please

Hi all

following advice on here re my desktop PC , I'm going to do a factory reboot & reset the whole thing to original once I've sorted all my files & bits on to a back up hard drive & found all my passwords etc etc

However , before I do that I'm looking to buy a laptop just in case it all goes horribly pete tong ! My little netbook really isn't up the job .

Limited budget , will be used mainly for web browsing , intending to download photoshop cc so occasionally will get used for editing & uploading shots from memory card's( D7000 so quite large raw files) Not keen on windows 8 but will have to learn to like it ! Will also load Office on to it as comes in handy every now n then Ideally would like one with a disc drive as well.

Try Argos who have a notebook fornjust over £200 as do Tesco. They're basic but will do what you asking

Thanks,my current netbook struggles to even Web browse and as for photo'.....forget it, hence wanting to moveto aproper laptop

Apologies.......I was already looking to upgrade the netbook so makes sense to do it before I reset the desktop just to be safe......I don't have much luck with computers and it would be just my luck to kill the desktop :-(
