Hi there !

I've just started a photography course (A Level) at my sixth form and have no idea on what to base my project on, whether it's landscape photography to photo-documentry photography .. i'm really stuck and would like some advice on ideas help !!

Hi Laurena :)
I really wouldn't worry too much about this - there's no right or wrong answer to what you base your project on. The best thing is to base it around something that interests you, or as Tina said, that you enjoy shooting, otherwise you'll end up getting bored of your project if it's not something that engages you!
I'm doing a Photography & Video course at University at the moment, so if you're stuck on anything course related, feel free to ask me :)

ive always wanted to do the 100 random people pictures for street photography

When I did my City and Guilds course earlier this year, I chose "Motion" as my project theme. I found it to be flexible and interesting, and I was able to demonstrate all sorts of techniques with this theme, from macro shots of a drop hitting water, to light trails, to sports shots, to my son kicking a puddle with his boot! More importantly than that though was that it held my interest, got my imagination going, and inspired me to keep taking photos, so as the others say, find a theme that suits you!
Anyway, good luck with it, and let us know what theme you decide upon in the end.
Alex
