Advice on Bridge camera please

I Want to get a decent bridge camera so that I don't have to take my d90 out all the time. I basically want to be able to get good quality images but have the decent zoom option too.
What are people's opinions on the Nikon p500 and the fujifilm s3400?
Any advice welcome
