I am just not up on the current products but it looks like my daughter is going to do a stint of VSO (Voluntary Service Overseas) - possibly in Ghana. It would be great if she has a camera to take with her -
- nothing too expensive, we don't want to attract attention/thieves/or cause social discomfort amongst those she is working with
- tough that should take some knocks
- perhaps water repellent (if not waterproof)
- takes reasonably good pictures and videos
- a reasonably small size
- reasonable battery life
- not necessarily the latest and greatest but something that would suit
It would be great to hear any advice or thoughts which you might have or even if you might have a second hand one which you might be interested in selling.
